It was a
super busy weekend but at the same time fun. On Saturday morning I went to the
adapted softball Minnesota state tournament to volunteer. I was officially the
one of the 3 announcers in 3 different gyms and it was pretty funny and a bit
hard for me to announce all the names. Some kids have normal names but I
totally don’t know how to pronounce wired names. Anyways it was a lot of fun,
because these children with disabilities get really into the games and I was
also able to see my swim friends again.

On Sunday morning I had to wake up early and my friend Brittany came over to do my hair and makeup. She did an awesome job and I think I just looked amazing. I left my house at like 10.30 to go to Sam´s swim meet at the University of Minnesota. Coon Rapids graduation was at the U of M Ice Hockey Arena 5 min away from the pool, so we walked over to the Mariucci arena after we watched a bit of Sam´s swim. She did really good and made it in almost every event back to finals. At the arena I met some of my junior friends who volunteered there and they helped me to find the way to the place where all the seniors met. (Thanks for that). We lined up and we had to stand in a line for around 55 min. That was hard especially with High Heels. We took some pictures at 12:05 we left the back of the arena to get seated. We went out by last so that we don’t need to line up again, when we get our diploma. After a few speeches they started handing out the diplomas. I was more at the ending so I knew how to walk and they actually pronounced my name in the right way. Another surprise was that no one tripped or fell which was good. After the school song ended we threw our hands in the air. It really looked like High School Musical and it felt really cool to be a part of the Coon Rapids graduating class of 2013.
I got home
at like 5:00 am and I went to bed right away, because I had to get up to go to
school. All the seniors are normally out of school, but I am an exchange
student and I have a sophomore class so I had to go, because I still had to
take the final.
I actually
didn´t feel so bad after 2 h of sleep and I think coffee actually saved my life
that day. My only all senior class was English 5th hour, so I asked
my favorite teacher if I could help him during class and he said yes.

It was
really hard for me to say good bye to some of my teachers, because they are so
good and fun. I wrote a thank you note for every teacher that I had throughout
the whole year and bought Milka chocolate for them. They were all so happy and
it made me so sad, because I know that won´t see them for a while.
This
weekend we were in Bemidji for a retirement party and it was fun except the
fact that Mucki (our dog) puked on me while we were driving up north. We stay
in a cabin at a lake and the rest if the family stays in a cabin next door, so
in the evening we had bonfires and sat outside talking. It is nice to spend time
with the family, because my time is running out….
Everybody
who doesn´t know I am leaving on the 26th of June and yes I am
excited to see my family and friends again, BUT I don´t want to leave because I
love it here so much!
I would
like to thank my teacher, for being always here for me and helping me. You guys
were really patient and sometimes challenged me but that helped me to become a
better student.
I also want
to thank my family for opening their world and house for me! You guys loved me
and I love you guys so much! I had such a fun time with you and you showed me
totally new aspects of life and you shaped me and I became a much better person
because of you!
Thank you
so much
Love you
